Bonlee is a small unincorporated community in central North Carolina, United States. It is located primarily in Chatham County, but with parts extending into Randolph and Lee counties. The population of the community is around 400 people. The area is named after the nearby Bonlee Creek, which flows through the town. Bonlee has a rural atmosphere and is known for its farming community and livestock. The community has a post office, a convenience store, and several churches. The surrounding area features rolling hills, wooded areas, and farmland. Bonlee is located approximately 45 miles south of Raleigh and 20 miles west of Sanford.
